In this poem, the poet personifies the prairie wind and a field of wheat as two partners in a dance. The music has contrasting sections for each of them. The sopranos and altos get to imitate the ever-flowing, whistling, unpredictable wind.

I will release this for sale after its premiere in April 2026.
