Composer: Sam Kauffman
Lyricist/text source: Psalm 12
Language: English
Duration: 7:45
Year: 2024

For this dramatic psalm, I have composed dramatic music, originally written for choir and piano and later adapted for choir and orchestra.

Furious instrumental passages lead the choir through a whirlwind of intensity as the psalm begins with a cry of despair for the human race and then moves to a prayer for God’s strong protection and a message of assurance.

The orchestral product includes the full score and orchestral parts. Choral scores must be purchased separately.

A portion of the revenue goes to the company that holds the copyright of the NIV Bible.

I am not releasing this for sale until it has had its premiere. If you are interested in premiering it, contact me.
