Set in flowing triple meter and brimming with lush harmonies, the first verse has a cascading countermelody over a stretched version of the tune. The second verse is a more straightforward setting of the tune, leading to the countermelody’s return at the very end.

An optional beginner part is provided, suitable for trombone choirs that include beginning trombonists. It always doubles another part.
